Anthony Lindan: A Journey from the Radio Waves to the Magic Stage

After a nearly three-decades-long hiatus, Anthony Lindan is elated to return to his roots and step behind a radio microphone again. An alumnus of the esteemed Seneca College Radio & TV Program, Anthony first carved his niche in the world of broadcasting as a news reader and reporter for CHWO 1250 AM in Oakville, Ontario, from 1992 to 1995.

Yet the radio waves weren’t the only thing to capture Anthony’s passion. Trading his microphone for a magician’s hat, Anthony ventured into the fascinating world of magic, performing full-time at corporate and business events across Canada and the USA. His unique blend of skills helped him tailor magic presentations for marketing and business events, deftly infusing his radio experience into client interviews and scriptwriting.

These days, while not charming the airwaves at Classic 1220, Anthony stays engaged, crafting his unique brand of entertainment at corporate events and showcasing his innovative magic-based team-building activities. Familiar to many, Anthony also brings joy to children’s and family events across Niagara, delighting crowds under the whimsical persona of Scoop McCoy.

Anthony “The Magic Man” Lindan can be heard Monday thru Friday from 7pm to 10pm
