Youth arrested after serious collision in Fort Erie

Emergency service personnel responded just before 1AM Wednesday to a serious single car collision on Dominion Road between Rose Avenue and Kraft Road in Fort Erie.  Police say a MBW had left the roadway and struck a tree. There were three occupants in the vehicle including the male driver. An 18-year-old female from Niagara Falls was ejected from the BMW due to the impact. She was transported to an out of region hospital with what is believed to be life threatening injuries. The driver and a 19-year-old male passenger from Niagara Falls were transported to local hospitals to be treated for what is believed to be minor injuries. The driver of the BMW a 17-year-old male from Niagara Falls has been arrested and faces impaired driving charges. His identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act of Canada
