OLD SCHOOL DANCE.

Many years ago, friends asked Walter Scott James to make a tape of oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s for them, and he decided to record it as if he were a DJ at an Old School Dance. His friends loved it and wanted more, so Walter brought in his DJ buddy, Allnight Esquire, to join the fun. Before long, they were performing live at house parties, pubs, dances, and spending summers entertaining at a northern resort. Eventually, their show hit community radio and stations around the world. All night’s quick wit and funny stories made him a listener favorite, and as one UK fan said a few years back, “I just love the show—you play great music, tell funny stories, and it sounds like you’re having so much fun.” These days, they’re still having a blast spinning classic hits from the 50s to the 90s and beyond, with surprise guests popping in from time to time. So dust off those old dance shoes and relive the good times in the old gymnasium, at the Old School Dance, with Allnight Esquire and Walter Scott James Saturday and Sunday 9-11PM on Classic 1220 CFAJ
