Thorold Fire and Emergency Services invites you to a special fire safety open house this Saturday at Fire Station 4 in recognition of Fire Prevention Week. Thorold Fire and Emergency Services is once again collaborating with the National Fire Protection Association to promote Fire Prevention Week. This year’s theme is “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention.” The campaign aims to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take when cooking to keep themselves and those around them safe.
Residents are welcome to stop by the open house between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Saturday. In addition to a cooking safety demonstration, attendees will have the opportunity to watch a live fire demonstration, sprinkler demonstration and 100’ ladder truck demonstration. There will also be activities, games and refreshments for the entire family.
