Things will be pretty quiet on the Niagara hockey scene until Thursday, when GOJHL action resumes with the Welland Jr.

In the OJHL Thursday night, the Niagara Falls Canucks will make the long trek west to play the Leamington Flyers.

Friday night’s GOJHL action this week will feature a battle for first place in the Conference, as Caledonia visits the St. Catharines Falcons.. The Fort Erie Meteors will take on the Sailors in Port Colborne on Friday night as well.

The N iagara Falls Canucks return to home ice at the Gale Centre Friday night to host the Buffalo Jr. Sabres in a 7 o’clock start.

The Niagara Icedogs are off until Friday, when they entertain the Peterborough Petes at the Meridian Centre. The Icedogs then embark on their first long road trip of the season, as the visit the Windsor Spitfires on Saturday night then take on the Sting in Sarnia on Sunday afternoon

Saturday’s GOJHL schedule has Fort Erie at Port Colborne and St. Catharines at Caledonia for the back of of a key home-and-home series.

The GOJHL weekend wraps up Sunday with Hamilton at Pelham in the afternoon, and Caledonia at Welland Sunday night.

OUA hockey this week, the Brock Badgers men’s team travels to Quebec, first to face McGill on Friday night, then Concordia in a quick turnaround Saturday afternoon.

The Brock women’s team will host Windsor Friday night at 6 at Canada Games Park, then visit York for a Saturday night matchup.
