Thursday January 18, 2024:
Due to inclement weather, student transportation is cancelled today for all schools in Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet, for:
– District School Board of Niagara
– Niagara Catholic District School Board
Other bus and taxi routes in the Lake Erie area as well as throughout Niagara are also affected based on routing through the storm area.
The decision to cancel transportation was based on forecasted snowsqualls as well as snowfall accumulations and the ability of school vehicles to navigate secondary roadways along with the school day forecast.
Schools are open.
There will be no late activity bus service for Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet this evening.
