St. Catharines Sports Hall of Fame Welcoming 5 New Members

Five new names will be added to the St. Catharines Sports Hall of Fame Wednesday evening. This year’s induction ceremony will take place at the Meridian Centre  beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Hall of Fame, located on the concourse level of the Meridian Centre. The event is open to the public and free to attend. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 5 p.m. and a reception will follow the induction ceremony. The 2023 inductees are athletes Don Betts from bowling, Clayton Brown from rowing, hockey’s Mike Iggulden , Jane Tregunno Stamp from rowing, as well as basketball’s Bob Miller in the builder category. This year’s class brings the total of inductees in the Sports Hall of Fame to more than 185.
