Early this morning NRP attended a home in St. Catharines on Catherine Street. When they arrived at the scene where they found a 19 year old male with gunshot wounds. He was transported to an out of region hospital in serious condition. Authorities deemed that the victim was leaving his home when he was confronted by an 18 year old man and was shot then fled the scene. The ongoing investigation led officers to identify a suspect and a possible residence on Louth Street near Chetwood Street in St. Catharines. There 18 year old Taeshaun Haynes was arrested and faces multiple charges.
