Serious collision in West Pelham

Niagara Regional Police responded to a report of a serious single vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue north of Sixteen Road in west Pelham just before 10AM Tuesday. A lone female in her 20s was being treated by Niagara EMS paramedics and Pelham Fire Service personnel.  She was transported to an out of region hospital with what are believed to be life threatening injuries. The circumstances around the collision remain under investigation. Victoria Avenue was closed for several hours between Sixteen Road and Twenty Mile Road.
