A new report by Rentals.ca shows Canada’s average price of rent is $2,100. This is an 11% hike from last year, the report mentions that a single bedroom rental unit in Niagara Falls & St. Catharines is close to $1,700 and over $2,000 for two bedrooms. Canada also hit a 9 month peak for the yearly rate of rent inflation. Where does this compare to other cities in Canada? Well, Vancouver was the most expensive market in the country, with prices around $3,000 for a one bedroom and almost $4,000 for a two bedroom.
