PROVINCE RE-APPOINTS JEN LAWSON TO POLICE SERVICES BOARD

Members of the Niagara Police Services Board have welcomed back Chair Jen Lawson to the Police Services Board. Lawson was re-appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario for an additional two-year term beginning  November 20.  She was first appointed to the Board on November 20, 2020.

Chair Lawson is a Chartered Professional Accountant and brings over 20 years of strategic leadership, collaboration, and business experience from a diverse background in the public and private sectors. Her employment experience includes universities, hospitals, regional and provincial governments, manufacturing, distribution, and family entertainment.  Her passion for continuous learning inspired her to pursue her Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University where she then completed her Master of Business Administration. She’s currently pursuing a Psychology Degree with a minor in Indigenous Studies at Brock University.  Born and raised in Hamilton, Lawson moved to the Niagara Region in 2002 where she has been an active member of the community, serving on several committees and boards in a variety of capacities for business, sporting, and service organizations.
