Around 2:30 Saturday morning, Niagara Regional Police attended the area of Lundy’s Lane and Garner Road in Niagara Falls in regard to an assist ambulance call. Investigation revealed a 2023 Black Kia being driven by a 26 year old male, was travelling west bound on Lundy’s Lane when a 31 year old male pedestrian from North York was crossing the street. The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle, then proceeded to be struck by an SUV being driven by a 21 year old male, who was also travelling west bound on Lundy’s Lane. Niagara EMS were on scene prior to police arrival and transported the male to a local hospital. He was then transported to an out of region hospital by ORNGE with life threatening injuries. The circumstances related to the cause of the collision remain under investigation.
