Pedestrian Struck by Two Vehicles in Niagara Falls

Around 2:30 Saturday morning, Niagara Regional Police attended the area of Lundy’s Lane and Garner Road in Niagara Falls in regard to an assist ambulance call. Investigation revealed a 2023 Black Kia being driven by a 26 year old male, was travelling west bound on Lundy’s Lane when a 31 year old male pedestrian from North York was crossing the street.  The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle, then proceeded to be struck by an SUV being driven by a 21 year old male, who was also travelling west bound on Lundy’s Lane. Niagara EMS were on scene prior to police arrival and transported the male to a local hospital. He was then transported to an out of region hospital by ORNGE with life threatening injuries. The circumstances related to the cause of the collision remain under investigation.  Witnesses to the collision and motorists who were in the area with an operational dash-camera are encouraged to review their footage and contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option 3, badge 1009089 with any relevant information.
