NRP investigating Stabbing in Niagara Falls.

Yesterday around 10am NRP responded to a stabbing in the area of Victoria Avenue and Buttrey Street in Niagara Falls. A 37 year old man was assaulted with a weapon reported NRP. He was transferred to an out of town hospital with life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in stable condition. Detectives have taken over the investigation and believe this to be a targeted incident that occurred in an encampment located to the south of Buttrey Street.
