NRP Arrest Niagara Falls man in the Investigation into Internet Child Exploitation

Niagara Regional Police Detectives assigned to the Internet Child Exploitation  Unit have been conducting an investigation into the upload of Child Sexual Abuse Material to a Microsoft cloud-based storage service. Detectives executed a search warrant today at a private residence in Niagara Falls.  Evidence uncovered during the search lead to the arrest of 66 year-old Michael D. Honey of Niagara Falls who is now facing two counts of possessing child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography. He was held in custody after his arrest and is set to appear for a bail hearing Friday in St. Catharines.
