NPCA announces return of traditional holiday programming

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has announced the return to its traditional holiday programming within the Heritage Village of Glen Elgin at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area. On Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10, the conservation area will welcome guests from near and far for its ‘Holiday Traditions in the Victorian Village’ programming, running 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Attendees will travel back in time as the historical village comes to life, decorated for the holidays in early 1800s and Victorian-era styles, while heritage interpreters lead them through life in the 1800s.

Many fun and family-friendly holiday activities and traditions await, such as:

  • Visit with Santa
  • Free face painting
  • Photo and toy stations
  • Holiday crafts and colouring
  • S’mores by the campfire
  • Hot apple cider
  • And much more

Guests are also encouraged to support our local food bank this holiday season! Non-perishable food items will be collected both days in support of Community Care.

General admission for the event is $8/person which continues to support educational programming at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area as well as conservation projects across the Niagara Peninsula watershed.
