The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is looking for feedback from the community about the design concept for Phase 2 of the Heritage Trail Rehabilitation Project from East & West Line to Line 3 Road. Phase 1 of this project, from John Street to East & West Line, was completed in the Fall of 2021. Phase 2 involves the rehabilitation of approximately 2.56 kilometres of trail, with a limestone screening trail closely following the existing path. A Public Information Centre will be held on Thursday, September 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Community Centre Lobby on Anderson Lane, and you can provide feedback on the Join the Conversation project page at jointheconversationnotl.org/heritage-trail until October 6th. There are four planned phases to complete the trail rehabilitation from Old Town to York Road.
