It wasn’t until the second period till the game saw its first goal when Ryan Roobroeck would net his 28th goal of the season to surpass Akil Thomas for the most points in franchise history as a rookie with 49. The Steelheads would get 3 goals in the 3rd period to take 2 points. Goals coming from (Misa, Zebeski, MacDonell).

Ice Dogs goalie Charlie Robertson, would make 43 saves last night.

The ice dogs will play their final game of the season on Saturday against the Sudbury Wolves on home ice.

With only 4 teams not making the playoffs (Niagara Ice Dogs, Peterborough Petes, Sarnia Sting, Windsor Spitfires), they will be put into a draw to see who gets the first pick in the priority, the U18 Draft Selection and the CHL Import Draft. The draw will take place on March 27th at 7:00 pm.
