A look at the week ahead on the local hockey scene…………..

The Niagara Icedogs begin another busy three games in three nights weekend on Thursday when they host the Central Division rival Barrie Colts at the Meridian Centre.
The Icedogs then visit Guelph for the only time this season on Friday night, before returning home to take on Saginaw on Saturday night.

The GOJHL Golden Horseshoe Conference gets things under way for the weekend on Thursday, with the Pelham Panthers at Hamilton.
On  Friday night, Caledonia visits the St. Catharines Falcons, while the Port Colborne Sailors host Welland
On Saturday, there is a rare afternoon tilt at the Leisureplex in Fort Erie, as the Meteors take on the Hamilton Kilty B’s in a 3:30 start. Saturday night, St. Catharines visits Port Colborne for a 7:30 puck drop at the Vale Centre.
On Sunday, Caledonia is at Pelham for a 2:45 start, while Fort Erie will be in Welland for a 7 o’clock faceoff.

In the OJHL, the Niagara Falls Canucks take on the Patriots in Toronto on Friday night, then host the Oakville Blades Saturday night at 7….

OUA Men’s hockey, the Brock Badgers take on Guelph on Friday night at 6 at Canada Games Park, then visit the University of Toronto on Saturday, while the Brock women’s team has a special school day game on Friday at 12 noon at Canada Games Park against Toronto Metropolitan University, before visiting the University of Toronto on Saturday.
