Fairly quiet weekend on the local hockey scene

It’s a relatively quiet weekend on the local hockey front. The Niagara Icedogs have a home game on Saturday night at 7 at the Meridian Centre, when they host the Kingston Frontenacs in an OHL Eastern Conference matchup.

In the GOJHL this weekend, the Pelham Panthers visit the St. Catharines Falcons on Friday night. Also Friday, the Port Colborne Sailors are home to Caledonia.

In a rare occurence, there are no GOJHL games scheduled in Niagara on Saturday night. Sunday, the Welland Jr. Canadiens are home to Pelham for a 7pm start.

In the OJHL, the Niagara Falls Canucks have a pair of road games this weekend. Saturday night, the Canucks are in Mississauga to face the Chargers, then visit the St. Michael’s Buzzers on Sunday afternoon.

OUA Men’s hockey, the Brock Badgers visit the Western Mustangs on Friday night, while the Brock women’s  hockey team travel to KW to take on Laurier on Saturday night.
