The City of Welland has announced the recent appointments of Stephanie Nagel as the General Manager of Corporate and Enterprise Services/Chief Financial Officer and Jessica Ruddell as the Director of Community Services, after what the city describes as a thorough selection process that drew an impressive pool of qualified candidates
Stephanie Nagel is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in municipal finance. Holding a Master’s in Public Administration and a CPA, Stephanie’s background includes a significant tenure as the Director of Corporate Finance/Treasurer with the Region of Peel and previous experience working with the City of Welland from 2003 to 2008.
Jessica Ruddell joins the City as the Director of Community Services, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in municipal administration. Holding dual Masters in Business Administration and Public Administration, Jessica has over two decades of experience spanning aquatics, recreation, fleet, and operations, most recently as the Manager of Fleet Services in the City of Mississauga.
Both Nagel and Ruddell officially begin their tenures with Welland on January 29.
