Call for Artists: Juried Art Exhibit, Phases

All established, emerging and student artists living in the Niagara region are invited to submit their works to the 15th Annual City of St. Catharines Annual Juried Art Exhibit entitled Phases. The theme asks artists to explore how they understand and interpret the total solar eclipse phenomenon. The exhibit will be displayed in the third-floor gallery space at City Hall at 50 Church Street from Sept. 20, 2024, to March 14, 2025.  Submissions of original artwork created within the past three years are eligible and a maximum of three works will be considered per artist. New for 2024, 3-D works will also be considered as long as they fit within an 18-inch square display case. Selected artists will be paid an exhibition fee and their work will be considered for acquisition into the City of St. Catharines’ Civic Art Collection. There are no costs associated with entry. The submission deadline is Monday, June 24, at 4:30 p.m. The City Hall exhibit program is coordinated through the Cultural Services Office of the City’s Community, Recreation and Culture Services department.
