In the NFL Sunday night, the Buffalo Bills scored two fourth quarter touchdowns and held on to beat the New York Giants 14-9 at Orchard Park. Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s pass into the end zone glanced off Darren Waller’s right hand on a first-and-goal from the 1 on the last play of the game. Buffalo running back Damien Harris suffered a neck injury in the second quarter and was taken by ambulance to a hospital for additional testing. With the win, the Bills improve to 4-2 on the season, the Giants drop to 1-5.
In the GOJHL Sunday, Pelham won 4-3 in Welland. Ryan Haeney scored the overtime winner for the Panthers.
In the OJHL, the visiting Niagara Falls Canucks lost 5-3 to the St. Michaels Buzzers.
