Two Men Arrested Following Fight in Niagara Falls

Niagara Regional Police responded to a report of a fight in Niagara Falls at 8:40 Wednesday morning. Officers attended to a residential apartment building on Huron Street and found two men suffering from injuries. A 56-year-old man was transported to an out of region hospital by ORNGE air ambulance for serious injuries consistent with having been stabbed.  Niagara EMS paramedics transported the other man to a local hospital for what is believed to minor injuries.As a result of the investigation officers have arrested and charged both men. A 52-year-old man from Niagara Falls has been charged with aggravated assault, while a 56-year-old Niagara Falls man has been charged with assault cause bodily harm. Their names have not been released. The injuries of the involved men have been determined to be non-life threatening.
