March 2nd, an anonymous donor will be giving away free groceries to families in need in Thorold, at the parking lot of Holy Rosary Hall, starting at 1 P.M.
The last time this took place, over 350 families were given bags of food.
The same donor unloaded a truck full of food to the Holy Rosary elementary school and gave the leftovers to the community care in St. Catharines and Thorold.
City Council. Carmen DeRose said “He’s a great community friend, a great contributor,”
The Donor is expected to do another giveaway in the next month, but there are currently no plans to expand out of Thorold.
