Third Day in a row of record breaking Weather

While it is still unnoficial, it appears that for a third straight day, St. Catharines and Niagara smashed the existing mark for the warmest day on record today. According to Environment Canada, the previous hottest October 4th on record was back in 1991, when the temperature hit 25.5 Celsius. By mid-afternoon yesterday, the agency was reporting a temperature of 27 degrees, while the Weather Network showed St. Catharines at 28. Much cooler and more seasonal temperatures are expected through the Thanksgiving weekend.
