The City of St. Catharines has added the Ontario Street Parking Garage to the list of cashless parking facilities in the Garden City, as it works towards streamlining parking operations. Effective immediately, patrons using the garage will experience what the city calls the efficient and user-friendly method for parking payments without the need for cash. The city adds the HonkMobile platform is a widely recognized parking solution which has been successfully used over the years in other City-owned lots, allowing users to conveniently pay for parking using their smartphones. Permit holders will need to set up a HONK account to activate permits, set up a credit card for pre-authorized payments, and link permits to licence plates.
