The Niagara Handweavers and Spinners Guild will be hosting the Fibre Lovers Holiday Show and Sale, Nov ember 18th from 10am to 4pm and November 19th from 11am to 3pm at Trillium United Church, ocated at 415 Linwell Rd. in St. Catharines. The members of the Niagara Handweavers and Spinners Guild have been gathering for the past 75 years to promote, learn, teach, and share the art of handweaving, spinning and many other fibre related crafts. This year’s sale focuses on the use of natural materials such as wool, silk, alpaca, wood, beads, felt, metal and more to create beautiful and modern works of art and craft. There will be demonstrations, door prize draws, and a raffle for a beautiful handwoven throw. Gift certificates and sign ups for “A Taste of Weaving” workshops will also be available. Admission – $2
