The City of Niagara Falls has released details for the 2023 Santa Claus Parade, presented by Ontario Power Generation, to take place on Saturday, November 18. The parade will begin at 3:30 pm, with more than 50 community groups, bands, floats, characters, performers and, of course, Santa Claus participating. The parade will run rain or shine. The parade will start on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street and end in front of City Hall. Immediately following the parade, the Niagara Health Foundation Tree Lighting will take place in Centennial Square at City Hall, kicking off the Foundation’s annual Celebration of Lights to raise funds for urgently needed equipment at our local hospitals. After the tree lighting, residents are invited to remain in Centennial Square for a meet & greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event will feature live entertainment and more. The city is looking for volunteers to assist with the parade and tree-lighting event. Visit niagarafalls.ca/santa to fill out an application form.
