The parent council for William Hamilton Merritt Public School will be hosting a vendor market called “Maverick Market” November 25, at 114 Linwell Road in St. Catharines. There will be local vendors, a bake sale and even a “Mini Maverick Market” featuring students from the school selling their “wares”. Funds raised from the event will go directly to the snack and breakfast program at the school, along with new jerseys for the school teams so they can showcase their school pride proudly, and finally for a new and improved playground, which it is hoped can be in place in the near future.
